CCA /KACB Road to Bay Waterway Cleanup

PINS Styrofoam Haul Off

Tire Turn In Event

Free Tire Turn Event for Aranas County residents. RFHS NJROTC cadets provided service to residents by managing the tires turned in for proper disposal.
Rockport Center for the Arts

Earth Day celebrations including a waterway cleanup. KACB provided supplies and disposal while the kids supplied the work and the fun.

Little Bay Rookery Project

Annual rookery repair and cleanup. Twenty seven volunteers made a big impact on the rookery and surrounding areas
Vessel Turn In Event

KACB sponsored a Free Vessel Turn In event for Aransas County. Over 20 direlict boats were surrendered. That is 20 boats out of neighborhoods, along with oil and gas productes recycled responsively
Dos Equis Waterway Cleanup

KACB was awarded a grant by Dos Equis to buy equipment and services for a waterway cleanup event. Volunteers cleaned the Cove Harbor area, Dos Equis refreshments were available.
City Wide Tire Round-up

Crab Site Complete

A community project started in 2018 was completed. Lots of donations and hardware over four years. Memorial bricks completed the project.

Day of Kindness RF Middle School

KACB helped sponsor RF Middle School, Day of Kindness. 760 voluteers 7,735 lbs of trash collected. Native plants were donated and planted.
Install and Report on Butt Butlers

KACB collaborated with Councll of Governments and installed 20+ Butt Butlers around the county. These devices were placed in areas where people might throw their cigarette butts on the ground. Additionally, KACB emptied and documented the butt collection.

Holiday Beach Cleanup

Governor's Community Achievement Award

KACB was awarded $210,000 to complete a beautification project within our community. Markers were placed as you enter the county displaying our local migrating birds and butterflies.

Little Bay Rookery Project with CBBEP
Exciting opportunity to collaborate with CBBEP in a sancitioned cleanup and repair of nesting sites in a restricted area for several species of birds including Pelicans, Blue Herons, Skimmers and many others.
Film Festival Review
KACB was selected by Rockport Center of the Arts to vet environmental films submitted into the film festival.
Conservation and Environmental Stewardship President's Award
KACB was honored to accept this award from Coastal Bend Bays and Esturaries Program.
